The New Zealand 2012 1/32 RTR 12 hour enduro was run at Wongys (Kennedy-Rd) wicked gloss track. Another great event with 4 teams - Wellington, Auckland, Taranaki and the local Hawkes Bay boys.

Most teams had 4 drivers. The format was 30min driver stints with 3 hours in darkness and 15 minute 'twilight' sessions either side of the night sessions.

The pace was well up on previous years. Hawkes Bay took the lead early on - thanks to a super quick, stable car prepared by Craig / nymvre . The 'Naki boys and Wellington fought it out until some tech issues slowed the Wellington car. Unfortunately Auckland had a motor fail.

Hawkes Bay took the title, smashing last years enduro total by about 500 laps.

All in all a great day with a great vibe - laid down by the highly organised but always laid back Wongy. Thanks mate. Another great event.

Some highlights were seeing young Michael do his team proud and step up in his first national event - and seeing Munter take fastest lap of the day. As always the night sessions were great fun with some drivers running faster than the daylight rotations.
